Azerbaijani Man Kills Russian with a Nail Gun

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reports the conclusion of an investigation against an Azerbaijani citizen suspected of murdering a Russian man for selfish motives, according to MK.ru.

The investigation revealed that the incident occurred on December 24 of last year. At that time, the Azerbaijani, who had borrowed a large sum of money from a resident of the Ulyanovsk region, arranged a meeting with the victim under the pretext of repaying the debt. In reality, the accused had no intention of returning the money.

He arrived at the meeting place armed with a nail gun and struck the victim with it, leading to the latter's death at the scene.

Soon after, the accused was apprehended and placed in custody by the court. The prosecution has already confirmed the indictment, and the case has been sent to the Ulyanovsk Regional Court.
