Euro 2020: Italy's Defender Leonardo Spinazzola Suffers Severe Injury
Italy's defender Leonardo Spinazzola has suffered a severe injury during the Euro 2020 quarter-final match against Belgium (2-1). According to Sky Sport Italia, the 28-year-old player from AS Roma has been diagnosed with a ruptured Achilles tendon. His recovery will take a minimum of 4 months.
Spinazzola left the pitch on a stretcher in the 79th minute of the match against Belgium, unable to hold back his tears as he departed.
