A Bezoar Goat Caught by One of the Forest Rangers; Director and Ranger Detained
On July 2, information was received that the director of a branch of the "Hayantar" State Non-Commercial Organization had hunted a bezoar goat in the area known as "Ardaraz" in the village of Elpin and was heading towards Elpin in a "UAZ" vehicle. An attempt was made to stop the vehicle in the area called "Zagha." The driver parked the car in a location known as "K’ari tak" in Elpin and tried to flee. The hunted animal was discovered in the stream at that location.
The director of the "Hayantar" branch who arrived at the scene stated that the bezoar goat had been hunted by one of the forest rangers. Both the director and the ranger have been detained. A criminal case has been initiated. The director of the "Hayantar" branch has been arrested, according to police reports.
