Tankian Calls for Boycott of Euro 2020 Quarterfinals in Baku

The lead singer of the band System of a Down, renowned musician Serj Tankian, deems it unacceptable to hold the Euro 2020 quarterfinal match in Baku. He has urged UEFA to cancel the event.

“It is not permissible to allow Azerbaijan to commit military crimes and then organize international events as if nothing has happened. The stadium is located not far from a disgraceful park displaying the helmets of fallen Armenian soldiers. We urge you to sign the petition on change.org,” wrote Tankian.
