«The Charges Against Me Have a Strong Political Nature as Political Terror»: Armen Charchyan

“The charge brought against me is absolutely incomprehensible, and in my opinion, it does not constitute any crime,” said Armen Charchyan, head of the Izmirlian Medical Center and a candidate for parliament from the Armenia alliance, during a conversation with journalists in front of the courtroom today.

“This charge has a strong political nature, as political terror,” he added.

“I am confident that the court will make the right decision because I believe in justice,” Charchyan remarked.

It is worth noting that the Special Investigative Service has decided to involve Armen Charchyan as a defendant. The investigator has decided to file a petition to choose detention as a preventive measure against Charchyan.
