Ruling Party Offers $1000 Reward for Documenting Voter Bribery Cases

The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that discussions are intensifying ahead of June 20 regarding allegations that various political forces are once again compiling lists of citizens who are supposedly to be bribed to vote for a specific political party.

Sources within the ruling party have indicated that there is indeed a problem in this regard. Due to a lack of complete trust in the operational activities of law enforcement agencies in certain regions, it is highly likely that instances of voter bribery may occur, which law enforcement may not report or adequately respond to.

When asked how they plan to combat such phenomena, our interlocutor revealed that the ruling party has established a $1000 reward for capturing incidents of voter bribery on video. Anyone who records an instance of a bribery proposal or transaction and provides that footage will receive a $1000 reward, and the evidence will be handed over to law enforcement authorities.

While it cannot be ruled out that this initiative by the ruling party may be purely a PR move aimed at combating voter bribery, one thing is clear: citizens who have sold their votes for years have brought the country to this situation. If the flawed practices of distributing bribes and compiling lists continue, we are far from realizing our dream of a normal country.
