Former BBBK Member 'Chery's Vahan' Accompanied Pashinyan in Syunik
The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports: 'Yesterday in Syunik, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was accompanied by former BBK MP Vahan Karapetyan, known as Chery's Vahan. He was seen with Khachatur Sukiasyan and has settled accounts with the members of the ruling Civil Contract party regarding local businesses. Although it remains unclear how he ended up in the revolutionary camp, reports had previously indicated a confrontation between Chery's Vahan and My Step's Haik Sargsyan.
Moreover, most of the Civil Contract team traveled to Syunik, including the isolated Ararat Mirzoyan. However, during the march, only Alen Simonyan walked alongside the leader, while others did not dare to roam the towns.
Pashinyan was also welcomed by businessman Suren Balayan, who is a former rival of Ashot Arsenyan from Jermuk and had previously criticized Pashinyan, stating that 'this government seems to be continuing the economic policies of the old regime, reluctant to free itself from the monopolists created by the old administration, and moreover, they set privileges for those who do not need them.'
