41-Year-Old Driver Crashes VW 21703 into Embankments and Flips Over Several Times
Today, on June 16, a significant car accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Around 3:50 PM, Norayr Sirakanian, a 41-year-old resident of the village of Yeranus, was driving a VW 21703 with Russian license plates when he veered off the roadway on the Martuni-Gavar highway at the 12th kilometer mark, right in front of the entrance to Yeranus village, for reasons yet to be determined. He crashed into embankments, rolled over several times, and ended up flipping over.
According to reports from shamshyan.com, fortunately, there were no injuries resulting from the accident. An ambulance team from Martuni Hospital arrived promptly on the scene and provided medical assistance to the driver. However, he refused to be transported to the hospital, stating that he felt well.
Rescue workers disabled the vehicle and secured the gas tank, also cordoning off the area.
