I Would Advise Him to Speak with the Same Steel About Aliyev and Our Enemies: Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan
Instead of seeing the speck in someone else's eye, let them see the log in their own eye. This was stated today, June 12, in an interview with NEWS.am, by the Primate of the Tavush Diocese, His Eminence Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan, in response to Nikol Pashinyan's statement that corrupt clergy members are discrediting the Armenian Apostolic Church.
"Just as the church has been targeted in a certain sense over these three years, the same situation is now present—more vividly than before. I would advise him that he should speak with the same bravado and the same steel about Aliyev and our enemies. This is my point, and I do not wish to comment on what they have said," mentioned Bishop Galstanyan.
It is reminded that today, during a campaign event of the 'Civil Contract' party in the city of Sevan, Nikol Pashinyan stated that it is not they who discredit the Armenian Apostolic Church and traditional values, but rather corrupt clergymen. Just the day before, on June 11, during a campaign event in Dilijan, Pashinyan claimed that if necessary, they would conduct another revolution until all elites—from political to spiritual—bow before the people.
