Mercedes Collides with Parked Porsche Cayenne in Kotayk: Injured Reported

A serious car accident occurred in the Kotayk region yesterday. At approximately 23:50, near the well-known "Zontikner" restaurant complex on the Dzoraghbyur-Garni highway, a Porsche Cayenne driven by 26-year-old Sasha Manukyan from Abovyan collided with a Mercedes operated by 31-year-old Hayk Martirosyan from the Davitashen administrative district of Yerevan, as reported by shamshyan.com.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the Mercedes and his passenger, 29-year-old K. Pashinyan from Yerevan, were hospitalized with bodily injuries at the number 1 university hospital. The collision caused the Porsche Cayenne to overturn, breaking a concrete power pole and toppling it.

According to reports, the Porsche Cayenne was parked when the Mercedes crashed into it, which resulted in the vehicle overturning. Both drivers underwent sobriety tests; the driver of the Mercedes was found to be intoxicated, while the Porsche Cayenne driver was sober.
