Pashinyan Pays Tribute to Charles Aznavour in Paris

Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan laid flowers in Paris in honor of the world-renowned chanson singer Charles Aznavour, paying tribute to his memory in front of a newly installed bust.

The bust's unveiling ceremony took place on May 22, coinciding with Aznavour's 97th birthday, in Paris at the Odeon Square in the Latin Quarter. Members of the Aznavour family, who survived the Armenian Genocide and sought refuge in France, lived in one of the buildings in that area.

The sculptor of the bust is Armenian artist Alis Melikyan.
