Muradov Meets with Vagharshak Harutyunyan and Presents Azerbaijan's Demands
This morning, Russian peacekeeping commander General Muradov arrived at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia for a meeting with Minister Vagharshak Harutyunyan. He was in Baku on May 24, where he negotiated with the Azerbaijani side, heard their demands, and is now presenting them to the leadership of the Armenian Ministry of Defense to resolve the situation at the border.
Under Russian mediation, efforts are being made to prevent further escalation and to peacefully settle the issue. This was reported by Hraparak.am.
“According to our sources, the Armenian side has agreed to make some concessions. We will provide updates on the progress of the negotiations later. We attempted to obtain clarification from the Ministry of Defense, but the head of the press service, Gevorg Altunyan, did not respond to our calls. We are confident that after the publication of this news, they will issue a statement, as is customary,” the media outlet writes.
