I Have Seen Everything in 67 Years, But After Seeing Yesterday's Photos, My Blood Turned Cold: Serzh Sargsyan
“I thought my blood froze in my veins. Is there any humanity left in these beasts? They brought the heroes who died for the homeland and stuffed them into a refrigerator. Are they not demons? What are they?” said Armenia's third President and Republican Party leader Serzh Sargsyan during a meeting with supporters of the 'Honorable' alliance in Masis.
“I am 67 years old, and in this time I have seen everything: war, horrifying scenes of friends dying. I have spoken for an extended time with fathers who have lost two or three sons. I have seen everything, and I thought I had lost the ability to be shocked or to cry. But the photos you mentioned, which I have seen, made me feel as if my blood turned cold in my veins. How can they bring the heroes who died for the homeland, regardless of whether they showed bravery or not; they gave the most precious thing to this country, yet these beasts have brought them and stuffed those people into a refrigerator. Are they not demons? What else can they be?” Sargsyan stated.
