Pashinyan Ignored Macron's November 9 Phone Calls, Says ARF Bureau Member

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is in France to seek legitimacy through political begging on the eve of elections, stated Hovsep Ter-Gevorghyan, a member of the ARF Bureau and a prominent Armenian public-political figure, in an interview with Yerkir.am regarding Pashinyan's visit to France.

"We do not recognize him as prime minister, let alone as a temporary acting leader. He does not represent the Armenian state; rather, he is a symbol of defeat, deceit, the destruction of statehood, the humiliation of our nation, and treason," he said.

"It is interesting to know why Pashinyan is appealing to President Macron today, when he ignored Macron's phone calls on November 9, 2020, which could have prevented the signing of that disgraceful statement," Ter-Gevorghyan added, emphasizing that Pashinyan's visit is yet another proof of hollow propaganda and demagoguery.

“Nikol Pashinyan should not be looking for solutions to our disastrous situation in France. France supports the Republic of Armenia within its capabilities, and Pashinyan holds no added value in this relationship. He is the main obstacle to overcoming this situation, and the solution is one and only: his immediate resignation,” concluded the ARF Bureau member.
