Resignation Parade: High-Ranking Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, and National Security Service Depart

Following the resignation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the deputy ministers have also submitted their resignation letters, which will be published soon, reports Armlur.am.

According to ArmLur.am sources, the deputy ministers submitted their resignation letters following Ayvazyan's departure. This trend of resignations is expected to continue. The situation is that several senior officials from the Ministry of Defense of Armenia have also submitted resignation requests. The same situation is observed in the National Security Service of Armenia, where senior officials decided to leave the system after Prime Minister Pashinyan's recent statements.

Sources from the site indicate that the resignation requests have not yet been made public at the request of the government until the ruling authorities manage to find replacements for those who have resigned. This implies a collapse and uncertainty within the public sector.

Earlier, we reported that during the National Security Council meeting, Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made the following proposal: “The proposal is as follows: we agree that very quickly, the armed units of the two sides, namely the armed forces, retreat from the border in a mirrored manner. In other words, there is a notion regarding the border—5 kilometers this way, that way, with a certain kilometers difference of one, two, three. Presumably, we propose that the armed forces return from those areas to their permanent deployment locations. In exchange, international observers—either from Russia or representing the co-chairmanship of the OSCE Minsk Group—would be stationed along the proposed border line.”
