Putin Sends Message to Aliyev

The President of Russia has sent a congratulatory message to the leader of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Republic Day. Russian news reports indicate that Vladimir Putin noted in the telegram that Azerbaijan has achieved successes in social-economic, scientific-technical, and other areas, enjoys authority in the global arena, and plays an active role in resolving many important issues on the international agenda.

“We highly value our relations with Azerbaijan, based on the good traditions of friendship and mutual respect. I am confident that together we will further strengthen our strategic partnership and effective cooperation in all areas for the benefit of our peoples, as well as for the security and stability of the region,” the message from Putin states.
