Video: Kumayri Police Discover Drugs in Pensioner's Home

On May 21, community police officers from the Kumayri division of the Shiraz Police in Gyumri received information that a 67-year-old man was illegally keeping and using marijuana in his home.

The police reported that during a search of the pensioner's house, they found a glass container containing a greenish, dry, crushed substance in the kitchen. The man claimed that the substance was marijuana that he had harvested near the bridge in the Noravan neighborhood, dried, and kept for his personal use.

A forensic chemical examination has been initiated. The circumstances of the case are under investigation.
