VIDEO: Makarov Pistol and Ammunition Found on Detained Individual

On the night of May 22, officers from the Vanadzor City Taroni division of the police obtained operational data through investigative measures indicating that one of the residents of the Taron-2 neighborhood in Vanadzor was keeping illegal weapons and ammunition.

The police report that this information was acted upon in conjunction with the Lory regional department and the Bazum division of the police. As a result, a 39-year-old man was located and taken to the Taroni division of the police.

During a personal search, a factory-serial numbered Makarov pistol was found, loaded with 8 cartridges. Additionally, 3 more cartridges were discovered. A forensic examination has been ordered, and the circumstances are being clarified.
