Vahaghsak Harutyunyan Discusses Regional Security Issues with Japanese Ambassador

On May 24, Acting Minister of Defense Vahaghsak Harutyunyan received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to Armenia, Fukushima Masanori.

Harutyunyan congratulated the ambassador on assuming his duties and wished him success in his responsible position. The acting Minister of Defense expressed confidence that the ambassador's active and effective work would contribute to the successful development of Armenian-Japanese bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, issues related to the regional security environment, existing threats, and expected developments were discussed.
