We Beat Them Well and Pushed Them Back: Arush Arushanyan on the Clash with Azerbaijanis

On May 20, Azerbaijani forces that intruded into the territory of Armenia in the area of Lake Sev attempted to advance, but were unsuccessful. Residents of Syunik and soldiers from the First Army Corps halted the enemy's advance. This information was provided by Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan.

"It was an operation befitting the people of Syunik. We beat them well and pushed them back. They are currently in the same place. Our fellow soldiers from the First Army Corps and the people of Syunik have not allowed the enemy to advance. All our guys are strong and resilient, there are no issues. We have no serious injuries, it will pass. The people of Syunik and the First Army Corps have given the enemy a deserved punishment fitting for Armenians," said Arushanyan.
