The Azerbaijani Republic Cannot Claim the Territory of the Former Azerbaijani SSR, Iranologist

Once again, I would like to remind that the Azerbaijani Republic, which is referred to as an artificial formation, officially declared itself the successor of the Azerbaijan People's Republic that appeared on the world map for the first time in 1918-1920, founded on Turkish interests. This was noted by Vardan Voskanian, a member of the 'Homeland' party and an Iranologist, on his Facebook page.

He particularly emphasized, 'In this regard, it cannot claim the territory of the former Azerbaijani SSR under any circumstances, not only in terms of supposed enclaves within Armenia, but also in some parts of its current territory, because the borders and territory of the Azerbaijan People's Republic from 1918-20 were highly ambiguous.'
