Our Boys Told the Azerbaijanis They Have No Territory Here, Go Away: Khoznavar Leader

The situation in the Kuth community of Gegharkunik Province remains unchanged. Community leader Sima Chitchyan stated in an interview with Lurer.com that the Azerbaijanis have not advanced and are still in their positions.

When asked whether there is still anxiety among the population, the community leader replied, "How can there not be? Until our borders are freed from them, until we see that they have left, there will be no calm." Chitchyan noted that the children in the village have not been removed, and people continue to live their normal lives.

Varo Grigoryan, the administrative leader of Khoznavar in Syunik Province, informed the media that the situation in the community is normal, and residents are engaged in their daily work. "The situation is calm; the children whose parents had taken them out of the village have been brought back. How much longer can they live outside?" Grigoryan emphasized.

Days ago, Azerbaijani soldiers advanced their positions by about 1.5 km towards Khoznavar. The community leader stated that they retreated to their positions on the same day. "Our boys told them: you have no territory here, go away, and they went back," he said.

Grigoryan added that people are taking their livestock to pastures without fear and are engaging in their work. It should be noted that for several days now, Azerbaijani armed forces have intruded into the territory of Armenia in the Gegharkunik and Syunik regions. In some areas, Azerbaijanis have retreated, while they continue to remain in others.
