Clarification Regarding the Daughter of NSS Chief Sasun Khachatryan

Recently, a Facebook post by Ani Karapetyan circulated in the media, stating that according to the declaration of the head of the RA Special Investigative Service, Sasun Khachatryan, his daughter, Silivia Khachatryan, has been employed since 2020. However, according to the 'available information' mentioned by A. Karapetyan, the declaration allegedly omits the fact that Sasun Khachatryan's daughter worked at the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia before 2020.

In this regard, we find it necessary to inform that the daughter of the head of the Special Investigative Service did not work in the mentioned organization but merely attended an internship for which she received no remuneration. Furthermore, interested parties can contact the aforementioned organization to obtain reliable and complete information on this matter. We also urge the aforementioned Facebook user and media outlets to refrain from referencing unreliable 'sources' and disseminating unverified information.
