Armenia Can Once Again Be Brought Back to the Path of Development, Everything Will Be Alright, Kocharian
The second President of Armenia and leader of the "Armenia" alliance, Robert Kocharian, met with the alliance's active members from the Armavir region on May 24. This was reported by the "Armenia" alliance.
A wide range of issues were discussed. As a region primarily engaged in agriculture, some questions pertained to the prospects of the sector. Kocharian emphasized that the solution to agricultural problems requires a significant increase in the volume of agricultural subsidies, that the price of irrigation water should become symbolic, and that farmers should not face issues regarding fertilizers, irrigation water, and especially the consumption of their products.
The discussion also touched upon increasing the military readiness, the security of Armenia and Artsakh, prisoners of war, educational policy, and other matters. Kocharian stated that it is possible to bring Armenia back onto the path of development, and everything will generally be alright.
