“We received information from Jermuk that Azerbaijanis have also advanced towards Jermuk,” news outlet Hraparak reports.

They attempted to clarify this information with the Mayor of Jermuk, Vardan Hovhannisyan, asking whether the information is true. The mayor responded, “I have no such information. When did they advance that I wouldn’t know? I would be aware of such a thing. I spoke with the commander this morning; everything is normal, there is no issue,” said the mayor.

When reminded that the issue is not about some tension at the border but rather about advancement, the mayor replied, “There is no such thing, not a centimeter has been advanced in the Jermuk area.”
