Altercation in Airport Departure Lounge: Head Coach of 'Pyunik' and Former Footballer Detained

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, materials are being prepared at the police's 'Zvartnots' airport line division regarding an incident that occurred at the airport yesterday, May 20.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, police officers received information that an altercation took place in the departure lounge, resulting in the detention of 35-year-old Anton Kobyalko, a citizen of the Russian Federation, and 42-year-old Yegishe Melikyan, a citizen of Ukraine, around 11:50.

It turned out that at approximately 11:30 on the same day, an argument broke out between them in the departure lounge, during which physical harm was inflicted on Kobyalko's facial area. Kobyalko is a former football player of the 'Pyunik' football club, while Melikyan is the head coach of 'Pyunik' and a former player of the Armenian national team.
