The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in a de facto 'blockade' and is unaware of the agreements being reached by Pashinyan: 'Fact'

The newspaper 'Fact' writes: 'The ongoing processes in Armenia once again confirm the claim of the professional community that there is an obvious political crisis in the country, and the state governance system is essentially in ruins. The overwhelming majority of state agencies are today, in fact, rendered inactive, and, in essence, governance has been left to take its own course. Much has been said about the fact that Nikol Pashinyan does not trust sectoral agencies and is doing everything on his own accord.'

According to 'Fact' newspaper sources, Pashinyan has had little confidence in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), and recently, he has started to operate alone on the external front, meaning that he is conducting foreign policy without the MFA. Our source from the MFA reports that Pashinyan does not discuss with the ministry and the minister, for instance, what he is negotiating with the Russian side regarding the country’s border situation. The MFA learns about all these matters, as they say, 'post-factum', when it is impossible to rectify anything and only a statement needs to be made.

The newspaper's source also reveals that such a strange situation has caused serious concern within the agency, as the primary responsible body for the country’s foreign policy is, in fact, in a 'blockade' and is unaware of what negotiations and agreements are being reached with international partners,' writes the newspaper.
