«Probably, hearing the name Mishik makes people's legs weak»: Pashinyan on the MFA's ignorance
International documents are received through the channels of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This was stated by Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during an extraordinary session of the National Assembly, addressing the opinion of Deputy Foreign Minister Avet Adonts, who claimed that the MFA was unaware of a new document to be signed.
“These are such times that when people probably hear the name Mishik, their legs go weak, saying ‘no, we won't, we won't,’” Pashinyan said.
He mentioned that documents are received according to the following procedure: they are provided by the Armenian Embassy in Russia, the embassy sends them to the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, then the Minister of Foreign Affairs sends the document to Pashinyan.
