Statement by the 'Armenia' Alliance on Azerbaijani Aggression and Violation of Armenia's Territorial Integrity

The current authorities have once again demonstrated their inability to ensure the safety of our country and its citizens, and to guarantee the territorial integrity of Armenia. No actions are being taken in response to the gross violations of international law by Azerbaijan regarding the protection of our borders.

The 'Armenia' Alliance’s statement reads: "Dear compatriots, Azerbaijan, taking advantage of the so-called pacifist policy of the authorities of the Republic of Armenia, their criminal inaction, and impunity, has violated the territorial integrity of our country. Azerbaijan's expansionist appetite has opened up exclusively due to the anti-Armenian policies of the administration led by Nikol Pashinyan. Serious security threats have arisen for us as a result of the invasion of Azerbaijani soldiers in the Syunik and Gegharkunik regions. The situation is fraught with the risk of large-scale military confrontation, a new war, and potential regional instability.

The armed forces of the Republic of Armenia are obligated to ensure the protection of our borders. The current authorities have once again shown that they are incapable of ensuring our country's and citizens’ safety, and guaranteeing the territorial integrity of Armenia. No actions are being taken regarding Azerbaijan's gross violations of international law in connection with the protection of our borders.

We call on the citizens of Armenia to remain vigilant and united, not to panic, and to be prepared for any scenario of developments. Dear compatriots, we are convinced that it is impossible to establish dignified peace, stability, and prosperity in our country with the presence of this incompetent authority, which is a symbol of defeat and disgrace. Therefore, we consider the formation of a national and qualitatively new government as the primary condition for ensuring the security of Armenia and Artsakh."
