Young Man Accidentally Shoots Himself in Hand While Repairing Airgun in Goris

On May 13 at 00:35, the Goris police department received a report from a hospital that a 21-year-old man was admitted with a diagnosis of a foreign object in his right wrist.

He reported that the injury occurred at home while he was repairing a "Tir" airgun.

Officers from the responding operational group determined that on May 12, around 21:00, the young man accidentally discharged his "Jaguar" type airgun while attempting repairs, resulting in a fragment injuring his hand.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.

A forensic examination has been ordered and materials are being prepared.
