Moscow Ready to Create Conditions for UNESCO's Activities in Artsakh, Lavrov Says
Moscow is prepared to create conditions for UNESCO regarding the preservation of cultural heritage in Artsakh, stated Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
“UNESCO is the responsible organization for the preservation of international cultural heritage and is also interested in participating in these efforts. We are ready to support the creation of conditions to make this possible. Of course, we must consider the agreements and the positions of the parties involved,” Lavrov noted.
