Ministry of Defense on the Situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani Border

No border incidents were recorded along the Armenian-Azerbaijani contact line of the state border of Armenia on May 6 and 7. A stable operational and tactical situation has been maintained.

According to the information provided by the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Defense, based on the data from the National Security Service (NSS), there have also been no border incidents recorded in the segment of the Goris-Kapan interstate road passing through Vorotan-Davit Bek, which is under the responsibility of the NSS border troops.

The source noted that the units of the Armed Forces of Armenia and the NSS border troops are monitoring the border situation along the entire length of the border and are carrying out the assigned tasks.
