Investigative Committee Launches Probe into Anna Hakobyan's Presence at Command Center
An investigation is underway to establish the circumstances surrounding Anna Hakobyan's presence at the command center. This was reported by the Investigative Committee in response to a written inquiry from "Factinfo," while denying the provision of information based on the confidentiality of the pre-investigation.
Earlier, the source reported that during the war, Anna Hakobyan was present at the command center of the Artsakh Republic Defense Army, monitoring military operations and sometimes intervening. Her presence at the command center was also officially confirmed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who stated that his family member was providing moral and psychological support to the command.
“Factinfo” had sent a written inquiry to the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia to clarify whether the grounds for Nikol Pashinyan's wife being present at the command center during the war had become the subject of investigation within the criminal case, whether she had the right to possess classified information, the level of classified information she had access to, and how this right was granted to her, by whom, and when.
In response to “Factinfo's” written inquiry, the Investigative Committee stated that they cannot provide information regarding these questions, considering the confidentiality of the pre-investigation. The source reports that they did not deny that these questions have become the subject of investigation but found it inappropriate to disclose information to the public.
