Marukyan Discusses Return of Armenian Prisoners of War with UK Ambassador in Armenia

Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction in the National Assembly, hosted John Gallagher, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, at the parliament. According to the official website of the parliament, among other issues, they discussed the return of Armenian prisoners of war held in Azerbaijan.

Welcoming the guest, Edmon Marukyan congratulated him on his appointment to a responsible position and expressed hope that John Gallagher would contribute to the development of parliamentary relations through effective work.

The interlocutors discussed issues pertaining to the deepening of Armenian-British relations and touched upon the early parliamentary elections scheduled for June.
