Yesterday, 8-10 Individuals in Civilian Clothes Crossed into the Buffer Zone from Azerbaijan, Ministry of Defense Reports
On April 28, at approximately 11:40 AM, in the northeastern section of the Armenian state border, at the N military unit's guarding area, 8-10 individuals in civilian clothes crossed into the buffer zone from the Azerbaijani village of Alibeyli, bringing with them 30-40 meter long pipes, likely intended to deliver water to a nearby Azerbaijani outpost from the mentioned area.
Upon noticing the Armenian Armed Forces personnel in the forward positions, these individuals quickly retreated back towards the village of Alibeyli, leaving the pipes in the buffer zone. Armenian Armed Forces servicemen exhibited restraint and did not succumb to provocations. The adversary's activities were halted.
According to information received from the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia, no border incidents were reported in the section of the Goris-Kapan interstate road near Vorotan-Davit Bek, which falls under the responsibility of the NSS border troops.
The Armenian Armed Forces and NSS border troops are monitoring the border situation along the entire border zone and fulfilling their assigned tasks.
