24-Year-Old Driver Crashes BMW X5 into Concrete Barriers at the Beginning of the Chayni Curves, Injuries Reported

On April 29, a major traffic accident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 01:10, a 24-year-old resident of Yerevan, Arman Zurabyan, lost control of his BMW X5 vehicle with license plate 01 AL 001 while traveling on the 21st km of the Yerevan-Sevan highway towards Yerevan. According to preliminary reports, he veered off the roadway and crashed into concrete barriers.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, two passengers were injured in the collision: 43-year-old Arman Tatosyan, a resident of the Gugark village in the Lori region, and 35-year-old Hayk Ohanyan from Yerevan. Tatosyan was taken to 'Abovyan' hospital, while Ohanyan was transported to medical centers in Yerevan, specifically 'Izmirlian'.

The driver underwent a sobriety test at the scene, which revealed that he was sober.
