Identity of Charred Body Found in Oshakan Apartment Revealed

The identity of the body found in a burnt apartment in the village of Oshakan has been revealed this morning on April 28. A tragic incident occurred in the Aragatsotn region, specifically in the village of Oshakan, when at around 07:43, the Emergency Situations Rescue Service's 9-11 operational management center received a call reporting a fire in one of the houses in Oshakan.

The firefighters, while extinguishing the fire that broke out on the first floor of the first house on Third Alley, discovered the body of a man.

According to Shamshyan.com, the head of the Oshakan community, Aram Nersisyan, also arrived at the scene. Police and investigators found that the partially burnt body was that of 48-year-old Gagik B., a resident of the same house.

Based on the investigator's decision, several expert examinations have been scheduled, including a forensic medical examination of the body. Additionally, an investigation has been initiated by the regional rescue department to determine the causes of the fire.

Those gathered at the scene mentioned that the deceased was a former police officer.
