Audi Q7 Crashes into Concrete Barrier, Falls from 1.5 Meters, and Overturns; Injuries Reported

Today, April 28, a serious car accident occurred in the Lori region. At approximately 16:00, an Audi Q7 with the license plate number 36 SS 007 left the roadway under unknown circumstances at the 14th kilometer of the Vanadzor-Spitak highway, collided with a concrete protective section, and fell from a height of about 1.5 meters, ending up overturned off the roadway.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, two people were injured and were promptly assisted by citizens and the rapidly arriving firefighters from the Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue service, specifically the Vanadzor Fire and Rescue Unit No. 37. They were transferred to the “Vanadzor” medical center. The doctors at the Vanadzor hospital acted swiftly.

The firefighters disconnected the vehicle from power and secured the area. The investigative work at the scene was led by the senior investigator of the same unit, Mukoyan, who is preparing materials regarding the incident. The police are working to establish the identity of the driver and the victims. According to information from the photojournalist, firearms were found in the crashed vehicle, prompting the arrival of an operational group from the Spitak police department.
