We Are All Concerned About Syunik, Which Is Why I Haven't Withdrawn My Troops From There Yet - Sasun Mikayelyan

To avoid all this, we must be strong and united, and have a powerful and normal state with a strong army. This was stated by Sasun Mikayelyan, a member of the "My Step" faction and president of the Youth Organization of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, during a conversation with reporters at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.

“As a war veteran, I clearly say that we have an age-old enemy—the Turk. We must always be cautious, with weapons in our hands. What lessons should we learn? Unfortunately, we have not been able to draw lessons from history. We were able to achieve victory thanks to Vazgen Sargsyan's consolidation after 600 years. If Vazgen Sargsyan had not been able to do that, we might have been genocided again. Any issue related to this country worries me, which is why the Youth Organization is still in Syunik. The events in Syunik seem like a script that probably comes from previous people who want to reproduce themselves.

It would have been more appropriate for the real people of Syunik to gather and ask the Prime Minister normal questions about what is happening in our region and what will happen. It was organized—what else could it have been? We are all concerned about Syunik, and that's why I haven't withdrawn my troops from there yet,” said Sasun Mikayelyan.
