The use of the term 'genocide' by U.S. President Joe Biden would be a significant step, said Deputy Foreign Minister Avet Adonts during a conversation with reporters at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial. According to the deputy minister, this not only expresses the U.S. stance but would also serve as an example for the countries of the civilized world that have yet to declare their position.
In response to the comment that Biden might use the term Ottoman Empire instead of Turkey, Adonts replied, 'It probably means that they are differentiating between this Turkey and that Turkey.'
