764 New Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in Armenia

As of April 24, Armenia has confirmed 764 new cases of coronavirus infection, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 212,878.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, 17 citizens have died from the virus within a day, raising the total death toll to 4,001.

In the past day, there were also 5 fatalities among patients infected with coronavirus due to other illnesses. As of April 24, the number of deaths due to these cases has reached 1,000. In total, 22 people died that day, bringing the overall death cases to 5,001.

The number of recoveries in one day is 1,079, with the total recoveries now at 193,360 and the currently treated cases at 14,517 (a decrease of 337 within one day).

In total, 4,552 tests were conducted in one day, with 960,067 tests conducted to date.
