Sister of Fallen Soldier Nane Arzumanyan Demands Proper Delivery of 23-Year Officer's Medal of Courage

Who are you to toy with my family's emotions? You do not even adhere to basic ethical standards, journalist Nane Arzumanyan addressed representatives of the Defense Army on social media. Her brother, Artush Arzumanyan, a 23-year officer of the Armenian Armed Forces, was killed in the 44-day war.

The bereaved sister expressed outrage that her brother’s Medal of Courage has not been properly handed over to the family. “Defense Army, are you really that unprofessional? What does it mean just to pass the medal? Haven't you learned anything from the 'Combat Cross' awarded by the President of Artsakh? Who are you to toy with my family's emotions, you do not even know the basic rules of ethics. If you are tired of the 23-year officer's Medal of Courage, then come and properly hand it over to my family and shake my father's hand.

I warn you, I will present one by one those who fled the army. My father and my brother's wife remained in the hospital until the last moment during the war and saw everything (now you glorify them)... A few days ago, I also saw the outrage of a girl regarding this issue; dare to deny or misrepresent what I have written, you do not know us well; you cross every line. You continue your tactless ways, while we will continue to always stand by the Army and take pride in the service of the commander’s son, Arayik,” the fallen soldier's sister wrote.
