“I draw everyone’s attention. I ask you to read and share: anyone who participates in the concert organized in the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex tonight alongside Nikol stands on the blood of our fallen soldiers. Musicians, refuse to attend this concert; invitees, decline the invitation,” wrote Gegham Nazaryan, the father of fallen hero Abgar Nazaryan, on Facebook.

“Abgar, Vardan, Karen, Argam, Aram, Narek, Alex, Gohar—all of these boys sacrificed their lives for the country, also for you. Do you understand? They died, and at least you should be able to deny playing in Nikol’s presence, refuse to be where the symbol of defeat is. Just don’t say ‘April 24’ and so on. Especially, April 24...” he added.
