Injured Soldiers Will Receive Compensation Based on Birth Certificate Data

The government made changes and additions during its meeting today, April 15, to the social support program for soldiers who were injured during the recent war that began on September 27, 2020. The decision's justification states that the adoption of this resolution is driven by the need to address numerous applications (including proposals and complaints) regarding raised issues.

Under the current regulations, soldiers applying for social support are required to present either a passport or an identification card, which poses challenges for eligible soldiers who do not possess these documents. To address this issue, it is proposed that social support be granted to soldiers injured during military operations without passports or identification cards, allowing them to apply for support by presenting their birth certificate information instead.

Additionally, it is suggested to extend the deadline for utilizing the program by one month, moving it from April 15 to May 15, consequently proposing to set the deadline for applications related to designated and unpaid amounts due to death cases from May 15 to June 15.
