Russian Tourist Dies in Turkey

A Russian tourist has died while vacationing in southern Turkey. According to the TASS news agency, the Russian consulate in Antalya has reported this information.

“The Prosecutor's Office confirms the information about the death of the Russian tourist, who was spending his vacation in Antalya province. Law enforcement authorities are conducting necessary checks regarding the case,” a source from the agency stated.

The diplomatic mission added that the results of the checks will be communicated to the deceased's relatives at a later time. Diplomats are providing necessary assistance in cooperation with local authorities and the insurance agency to facilitate the repatriation of the Russian citizen's body.
