Breaking: Conscription Soldier Found Hanging from Tree

ArmDaily.am has received information about a suicide incident involving a conscription soldier in the Meghri military unit. It has been reported that the deceased soldier had served for only two months, and family members were contacted by the military unit, informing them that the young man was facing some issues and requesting the parents to come.

According to preliminary information, upon the parents' arrival at the military unit, they discovered their son hanging from a tree.

The head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defense, Gevorg Altunyan, told ArmDaily.am that the soldier had been bedridden for two weeks and that he had not received any operational reports. Later, he confirmed that the incident in Meghri occurred around 12 PM today. He stated, 'Whether this is a homicide or suicide, no one can say at this moment; an investigation is underway.'

It should be noted that an investigation is currently being conducted to clarify the circumstances of the incident, whether the soldier committed suicide or not, and what the reasons were.
