49 Crimes Solved in One Day: Fraud, Kidnapping, Torture, Domestic Violence
According to summaries of operational reports from the police, from April 7 to 8, the subdivisions of the Police of the Republic of Armenia solved 49 cases of wrongdoing, including 3 that occurred previously.
The police report indicates that among the incidents were 16 thefts of personal property, 9 cases of causing bodily harm, 6 cases of fraud, 2 each of residential burglary, embezzlement or misappropriation, abuse of official power, and domestic violence, 1 case each of kidnapping, drug discovery, violence towards a representative of power, illegal extraction of aquatic animals, torture, sowing or cultivating banned plants, and failure or inadequate performance of professional duties by medical providers leading to patient death.
One missing person and four wanted individuals were identified, while three wanted individuals voluntarily presented themselves.
There were also five cases of voluntary surrender of weapons and ammunition.
From previously committed crimes, two cases of theft of personal property and one attempted murder were solved.
During the past day, 15 road traffic incidents were recorded in the republic, resulting in injuries of varying degrees for 18 individuals.
