Politician and Millionaire Bernard Tapie Assaulted and Robbed in France

French businessman, political and public figure Bernard Tapie and his wife were assaulted and robbed on Saturday evening at their home in France. This information was reported by "France Presse".

The incident occurred at Tapie's residence in the commune of Comb-la-Ville. While the couple was asleep, unidentified individuals entered the house with the intent to steal. The assailants beat and bound both the businessman and his wife and stole valuable items. It is presumed that there were four attackers.

Neighbors called emergency services, who provided assistance to the victims. Tapie's wife, who sustained minor injuries, was hospitalized, while Tapie himself refused hospitalization.
