Body of Daughter of Russian FSB General-Lieutenant Found in Yerevan with Gunshot Wound

A tragic incident has occurred in Yerevan. Around 17:40, the Kanaker-Zeytun police department received a report of a woman’s body found on the balcony of one of the buildings on Davit Anhangt Street. This was reported by SHAMSHYAN.com.

The operational group of the Kanaker-Zeytun police department arrived at the scene, led by the head of the department, Navasardyan. Additionally, a team from the Yerevan investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia also arrived.

Police and investigators discovered the body of a 40-year-old woman on the balcony, and next to the body, a pistol was found. According to photojournalistic sources, the deceased was identified as Zh.H.

According to G. Shamshyan, the deceased’s father is a General-Lieutenant in the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB). The pistol found at the scene was reportedly awarded to her father.

Whether this incident was a suicide, an unfortunate accident, or murder will become clear after a series of investigations are conducted.
