Explosion at Indonesian Oil Refinery Leaves Several Injured

In an incident at the oil refinery in Balongan, Indonesia, nearly thirty people have been injured due to a fire that led to an explosion, with five individuals reported in critical condition. This was reported by euronews.

More than 700 people have been evacuated and relocated to temporary shelters.

The explosion was so powerful that it was heard up to five kilometers away. Authorities speculate that lightning may have caused the incident, as there was a severe thunderstorm and heavy rain in the area at the time.
